Purpose

NOON was established in 2016 on the principle that cultural resources are essential to cultural health, and is committed to increasing access to these transformational tools and traditions in Colorado’s San Luis Valley. NOON presents art and education programs to the public free of charge, while advancing holistic practices for the preservation of culture. NOON advocates for art's foundational role in intergenerational, intercommunity relationship building for personal, social, and economic wellbeing.

Programs

NOON initiated the San Luis Valley Colcha Embroidery Project in 2018. NOON runs The Range, established in 2015 as an art space in Saguache that hosts exhibitions, events, and visiting artists. NOON stewards artist and cultural archives, including Ramblin' Roy Smith and The Smile Face Museum.
